ABOUT THE FARMHOUSE

Spend an interesting holiday at the historic farmhouse KLOUBEK est. 1861, located in the small village of Chabičovice. We are located just 4.5 km from famous town of Český Krumlov in the direction of Kaplice

Play on and 18-hole Golf Course Svachova Lhotka, which is only 1.2 km walking distance. Visit the Glockner brewery and have a taste their fantastic Glock beer. You can also go for walks and pick mushrooms and blueberries in the beautiful woods that surround the village.

Our estate is an Austrian style farmhouse. It is a rectangular enclosed building consisting of a mansion, with former stables, beautiful garden grounds, courtyard and a barn. The Buildings were originally built from stone and bricks in 1861.

The entire grass courtyard is available to guests. The courtyard is planted with native Bohemian flowers and it has a natural mini pool-pond with red koi fish. You can swim in the pond with the koi fish and take a refreshing break during summer days.

The owners are preserving the original country character of the farmhouse estate from it’s founding in 1861. The building has new rooms in the renovated farmhouse for our guests’ enjoyment. There is a salon where you can have a breakfast or socialize in the evening, also a salon with a billiard room and wellness oasis with whirlpool and infrared sauna.

The residential building has a bell tower on the roof. Sounding the bell served to drive off the clouds and storms. The bell rings at midday and at dusk. The entrance to the farmhouse leads through the gate that opens to the main house. This will take you through the passage to the courtyard. There is plenty of parking space on the paved area or on the lawn in front of the farmhouse. The whole farmhouse has been renovated. All apartments – suites are ready to welcome our guests. The barn is the ideal place for private celebrations or events. The most popular are wedding receptions for 40-120 guests. A herb garden was created from the uncovered part of the former barn.
